Some of us wandered in later — after the kids graduated, after the retirement party, after the quiet house got too quiet.
Some of us researched for years — read every breed standard, met the right breeder, drove home with a puppy in a crate, and the next thing we knew we were at a handling class signing up for our first show.

Bought for $75 from a farm outside Coatesville. Grandmother swore she’d never breed her, then bred her once, and everything Windmere is came from that litter of six.

Fourteen Best of Breeds, one Group. Mother pulled her from the ring at eight because she said “a good dog knows when she’s done, and so should we.”

The first dog that was yours. Slept at the foot of your bed for twelve years. The ribbon from her first Best of Winners is still tacked to the tack-room wall.

Running a club? Plans start at $20/mo for a club of 15 members or fewer, and go by the size of your membership. Every plan is the whole product, and every plan takes 3% of what you collect on a card.
