Terms of Service

Effective September 11, 2026

Plain English, and short. If something here is unclear or looks wrong, write to support@showsphere.dog and a person will read it.

What this service is

ShowSphere is software for dog clubs and the people who compete with their dogs. Clubs use it to run their membership, sell parking, vendor space, banquet seats and merchandise, and keep their books. Individuals use it to keep their dogs' records and buy what a club is selling.

ShowSphere is a technology platform that serves AKC clubs. It is not an AKC entity and is not endorsed by the American Kennel Club. Nothing you do here is filed with the American Kennel Club on your behalf.

Your account

You need an account to do most things here. You are responsible for what happens under it, so keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.

Give us real details. Clubs bill their members, exhibitors reach each other, and a wrong address or a made-up name breaks that for somebody other than you.

You must be 18 or older to open an account. Children take part in dog shows — Junior Showmanship is a real class — but a parent or guardian holds the account and enters on their behalf.

Who you are actually buying from

When you buy something from a club here — a parking space, a vendor booth, a banquet seat, a clinic slot, club merchandise — you are buying it from that club, not from ShowSphere. The payment goes to the club's own account. We provide the software and take a fee from the club for it.

That means the club sets the price, the club decides its refund and cancellation terms, the club provides what you bought, and the club is who you take it up with first. We will help if you cannot get anywhere — write to us — but we are not the seller.

The one thing you buy from ShowSphere is a club's subscription to the software. That one is between you and us.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

A club collects money into its own Stripe account on Stripe's normal payout schedule. We do not hold your money along the way.

Prices are shown before you pay, including any fee, and you will see the total before you confirm.

Refunds

Refunds on anything a club sold you are the club's to give, under whatever terms that club published when you bought it. Where a club has set a cancellation window, the storefront shows it at checkout.

Subscription payments for the software itself are handled by us; write to us and we will sort it out.

What you put here

Your dogs' records, your club's documents, your photos — they stay yours. You give us permission to store them and to show them to the people you have chosen to show them to, which is what makes the product work.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to upload, anything illegal, or anything designed to break the service for other people. We can suspend an account or take content down if it comes to that, and we will tell you why.

What clubs are responsible for

A club that runs its membership here is the one deciding who is a member, what they are charged, what an event costs and what it provides. A club is also responsible for its own legal and tax obligations — we produce reports from your own figures, and we do not file anything for you.

A club's officers can see that club's records. That is the point of the software, and anyone joining a club here should expect it.

Things we do not promise

The software is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it up and correct, but we cannot promise it will never be down, never be wrong, or fit every club's way of doing things.

We are not responsible for what a club does, for what another user does, or for a show being canceled, moved or judged in a way you disagree with.

Ending it

You can stop using the service whenever you like, and a club can cancel its subscription. Write to us to close an account.

We can suspend or close an account that is being used to harm other people or that has not paid for the software. We will say why, and give a club a chance to get its records out.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and change the date at the top. Carrying on using the service after that means you are fine with the change.
