Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what the product needs to work, we do not sell it, and there are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

What we collect

Depending on what you use, that is:

• Your account: your name, the email address you sign in with, your phone number, and your password (stored scrambled, never readable by us).
• Your dogs: their registered names and numbers, breed, sex, date and place of birth, microchip number, breeder and owner details, titles, and any registration papers or documents you upload.
• Your clubs: your membership standing, the office you hold, your dues, and how you voted only where a ballot is designed to record that.
• What you buy: what you ordered, what you paid, and anything a club asked you for at checkout — a vehicle and plate for an RV space, a trading name for a vendor booth, a judge number, a contact address.
• Photos you upload, of yourself, your dogs or your club.
• Ordinary technical records: your IP address, your browser, and what went wrong when something went wrong.

What we do with it

Run the product: show you your dogs, let you buy from a club, let a club bill its members and keep its books.

Send you transactional email — receipts, tickets, password resets, and notices about an event you signed up for. You can unsubscribe from a club's bulk mail; you cannot unsubscribe from a receipt.

Keep the service secure and working, and answer you when you write in.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We have no advertisers.

Who else sees it

A club you belong to sees what it needs to run the club: your contact details, your standing, your dues, and what you bought from it. That is the point of joining a club here.

A handful of companies process data on our behalf, and only to do the job we hired them for:

• Stripe — card payments. Stripe handles your card details directly; we never receive the full number.
• Amazon Web Services — hosting and email delivery.
• Supabase — the database and the sign-in system.

Cookies

Two kinds, and that is all:

One keeps you signed in. One remembers which club you were last working in, if you belong to more than one.

There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers on this site. That is why there is no cookie banner asking you to accept any.

Children

Accounts are for people 18 and over. Junior Showmanship and other junior classes are part of this sport, and where a child competes, a parent or guardian holds the account and enters on their behalf — so the account details are the adult's.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to support@showsphere.dog and we will remove them.

How long we keep it

While your account is open, and for as long afterwards as we need to for tax, accounting and dispute records.

When something is deleted here — a dog, an order, a member record — it stops appearing in the product, and a club's financial history keeps the record of what happened. That is deliberate: a club's books have to still add up after somebody leaves.

Your choices

You can see and change most of your details from your own profile.

For a copy of your data, or to have your account closed, write to support@showsphere.dog and we will do it by hand. There is no button for it yet, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

Every bulk email a club sends carries an unsubscribe link.

Where it lives

Our servers and database are in the United States. If you are somewhere else, that is where your information is going.

Security

Traffic is encrypted, passwords are stored scrambled, a club's records are walled off from every other club's, and documents you upload sit in private storage that has to be unlocked for each viewing.

You can turn on a second sign-in step from your account. We recommend it for anyone who holds an office in a club.

Changes, and getting hold of us

If we change this in a way that matters, we will say so here and change the date at the top.

Write to support@showsphere.dog with anything at all about your data. A person reads it.
